Team faggat & Payee were challenged once more, this time by Mowby & Gouldy.up they turned at 9.30 am at Swindon GC. nice new motokaddy trollies with matching bags. " i aye lost since ive had this" Mowby declares.(apparently it knocks 3 shots off your game) Santas been very generous this year. Do you want to hit a few off the range they were asked... No we're fine, lets get it on!!!
So it began....down the first it was team Mowbe & gould, who took the first point. followed by 2 halves, and then another point to M&G.Team Faggat & Payee were getting a little worried. were they getting a little cocky playing off scratch against Mowby (12 handicapper).
Nah not at all.. the wheels literally fell off the shiny new Motokaddy by the turn. and then he had to put it back in the car. Team F&P were 5 points in the clear with 9 holes to play, Payee then turned up and birded the 14th & 16th. all was over, Team Faggat & Payee won by 11 points stableford and 5&3 matchplay.
A thoroughly fantastic days golf, albeit on a few temps. Company was great weather fantastic, a beer and a bit of snap in the members lounge, great, thanx to Mowby & Gouldy. hope to get a rematch at St Thomas's, if you fancy winning back your fivers. Cheers Payee.

Boxing Day @ Beau Desert
Just a quick one , but i thought it was worth a mention.Boxing Day morning an event was organised by Johnnathan Thomas. 16 players 8 members, 8 guests. stableford £5 Entry. winning pair drawn from the hat.
Early start, left the house at 6.15 am, picked up Rob (Faggat) Walker. and headed into the darkness to cannock chase. on arrival we were met the Thomas's gary mark and johnnathan.who showed us were to get changed and to the putting green. Trying to put in complete darkness was a first for me, but one by one the other 16 turned up, a few familiar names to the NHGS. clacka,billy,3 thommos,and Faggat and Payee, but were was the Spanish Champ 07.
Late as per usual i here you cry....No the dozy get had only locked his clubs in his boot and couldn't get the buggers out. so there he was almost in tears..."all i got is me shoes" them new jags they dow mek um like tha used too..
So a bag, some borrowed irons and a borrowed putter were found for the champ. up he turns fust off the tee... borrows garys driver and proceeds to knob his first shot to the delight of the crowd into the big ditch in front of the first...promptly puts down another ball and does exactly the same again... well you couldn't make it up.. he then throws garys driver onto the floor and says its this crap club.
Anyway you could here him hollowing all the way round the course, cussing every club that he'd begged borrowed or stole.The result was a great day was had by all, Thanx to clacka for costing me £40 as he only scored 24. Rob (Faggat) Walker posted the highest score on the day at 37 and so was the worthy winner. weather was great, course in perfect condition and i played with a great fourball, cheers Dean, Paul and Faggat. roll on the next NHGS DAY!!!!
